Marco Turini

Marco Turini joined dsm-firmenich in February 2021. 
During his career in the field of Nutrition & Health, he spanned various functions from Research to Regulatory, to Medical and Scientific Affairs in Switzerland and abroad. 

In his current role, he contributes to the development of innovative science, communications, ingredients, and applications for customers. By leveraging dsm-firmenich unique ingredient portfolio and advanced scientific capabilities, he plays a crucial role in supporting each business segment in EMEA region to achieve their strategic goals. 

He studied Biology at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), before pursuing his education in North America where he obtained a MSc & a PhD in Nutrition & Metabolism, with focus on lipids from the University of Alberta and the University of Guelph (Canada), respectively. He then cross the border for a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado State
