Federica Cattapan
Federica Cattapan is a researcher with over 30 years of experience in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. She earned his Master's degree in Biological Sciences at Padua University, with qualifications in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. For 18 years, she was the Director of the Biology department in Chelab Srl, dealing with different quality systems (ISO 17025, GMP and GLP) and setting up innovative services in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Virology, Ecotoxicology and in-vitro Toxicology.
She joined Meriéux NutriScience in 2012 and currently, she is the Director of Molecular Biology R&D, responsible for Mérieux NutriSciences Global Research Projects, leading the NGS excellence centre. Federica actively participates as expert in international working groups on Food Allergens, Food Fraud & Authenticity, Molecular Biomarkers definition for food analysis and in funded scientific projects (national and European). She partecipates in scientific congresses as a speaker and publishes her works in specialized scientific journals.
