Carlo Agostoni (born 1957) is Chairman of the Pediatric-Immunoreumatology Unit and Interim Chairman of the Pediatric-Pneumo Infectivology Unit at the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda-Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico of Milano, and Professor of Pediatrics, Department of Clinical Sciences and Community Health, at the University of Milano. Currently member of the Italian Commission of Food Safety (CNSA), of the Italian Ministry of Health (since 2015). Director of the Post-graduate School of Pediatrics, University of Milano (2020-2023); Member of the International Pediatric Research Foundation (2014-2018); President of the Italian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (2016-2019); Member of the Panel on Nutrition, Dietary products and Allergy (NDA) of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), 2009-2015; Member of the ESPGHAN Committee of Nutrition (1999-2007), Local President of the Annual ESPGHAN Meeting in Milano, May 2024.
